MCS Group are working with Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to recruit for an HR Administrator - Learning & Development on a 6-month temporary basis. This role provides essential administrative, operational and front-of-house support to the L&D Centre, contributing directly to organisational objectives and the effective delivery of training and development.

You will support operational learning and development activities, provide LMS Helpdesk support, assist with digital learning initiatives, liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and help ensure the smooth delivery of learning programmes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative and customer service support to the L&D function
  • Act as a first point of contact for L&D enquiries
  • Support the development and delivery of learning materials and digital content
  • Provide Helpdesk support for the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Maintain accurate training records and management information
  • Support course scheduling, events, meetings and training delivery
  • Liaise with stakeholders, training providers and software suppliers
  • Support procurement, contract administration and finance processes
Essential Criteria
  • HNC-level qualification in a relevant subject and at least 2 years' experience in an L&D/administrative role
  • 5 GCSEs (including English & Maths) and at least 5 years' experience in an L&D/administrative role
  • Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills
  • Experience producing accurate reports on learning management information
  • Full UK driving licence (Category B)
Desirable
  • Public sector/local government experience
  • Software/system administration experience
  • Digital, web or learning technology skills
