You\’ll lead by example, promoting best practices, ensuring compliance, and embedding proactive safety behaviours across the business. From developing engaging safety management plans to conducting risk assessments and audits, you\’ll be instrumental in creating a safe, compliant, and empowering workplace for all.
What You\’ll Do
- Lead the implementation of site-wide Health & Safety standards.
- Champion a zero-harm culture where every individual takes ownership of safety.
- Ensure all risk assessments, audits, and safety documentation are accurate, current, and relevant.
- Drive compliance with all statutory Health & Safety legislation and internal policies.
- Conduct and oversee incident investigations, manage corrective actions, and provide timely, accurate weekly and monthly safety reports.
- Integrate the group\’s inspection, audit, and safety check programmes into site operations.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of Group Health & Safety systems and procedures.
- Develop and roll out safety engagement initiatives that bring our safety culture to life.
You will be an energetic, proactive safety professional who inspires others and leads from the front. You know that safety is more than compliance, it\’s about people, culture, and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
- Proven track record in engaging teams to achieve measurable Health & Safety improvements
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and motivate others
