MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for our client, Ireland's leading recycler of organic waste. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing environmental business, supporting Health & Safety across multiple operational sites while driving compliance, continuous improvement and a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accident, incident and near-miss investigations
- Lead Health & Safety audits, inspections and site risk assessments
- Develop Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions and Health & Safety training
- Promote a positive safety culture across multiple operational sites
- Support HSENI inspections and compliance with ISO management systems
About You
- 2+ years' Health & Safety experience within an operational environment
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
- Experience in manufacturing, recycling, waste, logistics or a similar industry is desirable
