We are pleased to be working with this established public-sector organisation in their search for a Grants Assistant.
This role supports community planning by providing admin support, coordinating events, managing records, engaging with the public, and ensuring policy compliance.
The role:
- Admin Support: Provide administrative assistance, including diary management and correspondence.
- Community Planning: Support database management, report preparation, events, and promotional activities.
- Public Engagement: Respond to enquiries from the public and community groups.
- Team Collaboration: Assist with admin cover across the service, including community centres.
- Policy Compliance: Follow all policies, including health & safety and equality.
- Performance Improvement: Contribute to service planning, efficiency, and personal development.
- Records Management: Maintain accurate records in line with data protection and FOI regulations.
The Person
As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:
Essential:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications
- The ability to deal efficiently with large volumes of work
- Successfully prioritising competing demands
- Working with office technology ie Word Processing or Typewriting
