Ambitious? Commercially minded? Ready to turn your potential into a career? MCS Group is looking for driven graduates with the potential to become exceptional recruitment consultants. Your degree discipline is not important, and you do not need previous recruitment experience. What matters is your confidence, curiosity, resilience and willingness to pick up the phone. We want people who learn quickly, act on feedback and are motivated by progression, responsibility and the opportunity to increase their earnings.

Let's be clear: recruitment is a sales career. You will develop new business, build influential relationships and become an expert in a specialist professional market. You will hear "no", face setbacks and be expected to keep moving. In return, you can build a highly rewarding career with one of Northern Ireland's leading recruitment businesses. We will provide the training, coaching, technology and market knowledge. You need to bring the hunger, attitude and work ethic.

What you will do

  • Learn how to build and manage your own specialist recruitment market, including:
  • Speaking to candidates, clients and prospective customers every day
  • Generating leads through calls, email, LinkedIn and networking
  • Building relationships with professionals and business leaders
  • Identifying commercial opportunities and developing new business
  • Sourcing, interviewing and representing high-quality candidates
  • Advising clients on talent, salaries and hiring decisions
  • Managing recruitment processes from first conversation to successful offer
  • Working towards clear performance and revenue targets
  • Taking ownership of your development and results

The mindset we hire for

Your degree may open the door, but your mindset will determine what you achieve. We are looking for graduates who are:

  • Hungry: You want to achieve more and are prepared to work for it.
  • Confident: You are comfortable starting conversations and using the phone.
  • Curious: You ask good questions and want to understand people and businesses.
  • Coachable: You seek feedback and quickly put it into practice.
  • Resilient: You can handle rejection and bounce back from setbacks.
  • Commercial: You recognise opportunities and understand that results matter.
  • Accountable: You take ownership rather than waiting to be directed.
  • Competitive but ethical: You want to win-and do it in the right way.

You may have developed these qualities through a placement year, part-time job, sport, volunteering, society leadership, travel or another experience that pushed you outside your comfort zone. Experience is useful. Potential and mindset are essential. Learn fast. Perform. Progress.

From your first day, you will receive structured training in recruitment, sales, business development, technology and your specialist market. You will learn through workshops, coaching, live calls and regular feedback from experienced recruiters and leaders. You will be supported-but expected to take responsibility for your learning and performance. As your capability grows, so will your responsibilities, career opportunities and earning potential.

Why MCS Group?

  • Competitive salary of £26,500-£30,000
  • Uncapped commission with no threshold
  • Clear career pathways and promotion opportunities
  • Industry-leading learning and development
  • Hybrid working following initial training
  • Private medical insurance and health cash plan
  • Birthday leave, retail discounts and enhanced maternity benefits
  • Investors in People Gold accreditation
