Financial Accountant - Coleraine

MCS Group are looking for a Financial Accountant to join a forward thinking energy company in Coleraine.

The Company:

Our client is Northern Ireland's first fully circular waste management solution - they collect unused resources and generate electricity with the lowest carbon intensive solution.

The Role:

As the successful Financial Accountant you will report directly to the Financial Controller:

  • Support the business leaders with all accounting and reporting;
  • Responsibility of all balance sheet movements;
  • Implement and design new business accounting systems;
  • Be involved with Technical accounting/tax;
  • Support the careful monitoring and management of working capital;
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.

The Person:

The successful Management Accountant will meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 2 years PQE;
  • Analytical approach to work;
  • Strong stakeholder management experience;
  • Strong commercial acumen.
