ERP Software Tester Hybrid - Dundalk (3 days onsite) or Fully Remote in Ireland (location dependent). Competitive package, including base, annual wellness benefit, onboarding equipment, pension, life & health insurance and more.
My client is expanding their product engineering team and is looking for an ERP Software Tester who enjoys working on complex systems and taking real ownership of quality. This role sits within a busy environment where the product is constantly evolving, and you'll play a key part in shaping how new features are tested, documented, and released. The product itself is a large, highly configurable ERP platform used across multiple industries. There's a wide mix of functionality, integrations, and customer-specific setups, so the work is varied and suits someone who likes problem-solving, understanding business logic, and figuring out how different modules fit together.
If you enjoy steady, interesting work, close collaboration with developers, and improving testing structure, you'll feel right at home here.
What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out manual testing across several ERP modules and related products
- Creating and maintaining detailed test cases, scripts, and clear test evidence
- Working alongside developers, product owners, and other testers to understand requirements and highlight gaps
- Taking part in demos to understand new development work and plan meaningful test coverage
- Testing integrations, configuration changes, customer-specific scenarios, and regression impacts
- Using SQL to validate data, and Postman to test REST APIs
- Supporting better documentation and helping build a strong manual pack that feeds into automation
- Contributing to ongoing improvements in testing standards and overall team quality
What my client is looking for (must-haves):
- Professional experience testing ERP or large, configurable business systems
- Strong manual testing capability, with a structured approach to test case design and defect reporting
- Confidence using Azure DevOps (or a similar test management tool)
- Ability to run SQL queries to support testing and data validation
- Experience testing APIs using Postman
- A proactive mindset - comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity early
- Someone organised, thorough, and able to manage workload in a busy sprint environment
- Good attention to detail and a calm, methodical approach to understanding complex workflows
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Ranorex or other automation tools
- Basic understanding of AWS or Git
- ISTQB certification
Why this role might suit you:
If you enjoy variety, digging into complex logic, and being part of a supportive team that takes quality seriously, this role will give you plenty to get stuck into. You'll have clear workflows, consistent collaboration with the engineering team, and the opportunity to shape how testing evolves as the product grows.
