MCS are delighted to be recruiting for a Marketing & Social Media Executive to join a successful and growing organisation within the wholesale and retail sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally focused marketing professional who can combine creativity with commercial thinking.
You'll take ownership of key digital channels, create engaging content, manage paid media activity, support website performance and use data-driven insights to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, retailer recruitment and business growth.
Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, you'll work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful campaigns across a diverse brand portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Develop and deliver digital marketing activity across multiple brands and channels.
- Manage social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Whats App Business and Linked In.
- Create engaging content including video, photography, graphics, blogs, website and email content.
- Manage content calendars aligned with campaigns, promotions and seasonal activity.
- Maintain brand consistency and work with internal and external creative partners.
- Support influencer campaigns, events, competitions, retailer engagement and promotional activity.
- Manage website content and support ongoing optimisation.
- Monitor social trends and identify opportunities to increase engagement.
- Paid Media
- Plan, manage and optimise paid campaigns across Meta and Tik Tok.
- Manage budgets and optimise targeting, creative, messaging and landing pages to maximise ROI.
- Monitor campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Support lead-generation and business development campaigns.
- Work with PPC partners to enhance paid marketing activity.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Own digital performance reporting and monitor key KPIs across all channels.
- Use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Business Suite to identify insights and opportunities.
- Produce monthly reports with clear recommendations and actions.
- Monitor competitor activity, customer feedback, industry trends and emerging digital opportunities.
About you
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Businessor a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
- 3+ years' experience in digital marketing, campaign management, marketing communications or a related role.
- Proven experience developing and executing digital strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing budgets and delivering effective digital marketing activity against business objectives.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and content development skills.
- The ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, including digital, creative and product marketing.
- Experience using Adobe Express or Canva.
- Experience working with PPC, design, influencer talent or content agencies.
- Experience using email marketing platforms.
- Photography and videography skills, with the ability to create engaging in-house content.
- Experience working within FMCG, retail or another fast-paced commercial environment would be highly advantageous.
