The Role
The payroll & benefits specialist will be responsible for:
- Managing the end‑to‑end monthly payroll process.
- Administer employee benefits.
- Administer starters, leavers, contractual changes, salary changes, overtime, shift allowances, statutory payments, pension deductions and benefit deductions.
- Review, check and verify payroll input before submission to the payroll provider.
The Person
The successful payroll & benefits specialist will meet the following criteria:
- Experience of end‑to‑end UK payroll processing.
- Experience administering a time and attendance system.
- Experience administering employee benefits.
- Working knowledge of PAYE, NI, statutory payments, and pension administration.
- CIPP is desirable but not essential.
