MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Group Buyer for our client, a leading building services and facilities management contractor operating across Northern Ireland. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to take ownership of procurement and buying activities across the group. You'll play a key role in strengthening supplier relationships, driving commercial value, and supporting the business through an exciting period of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement and buying activities across the group
- Negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements
- Drive cost savings and supply chain improvements
- Manage supplier performance and procurement controls
- Work closely with commercial, operational, and finance teams
About You
- Experience in buying, procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles within construction, M&E, FM, or building services
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially minded with a focus on value and efficiency
- Open to experienced Buyers, Procurement Officers and more
