The Role

As the successful Audit Senior / Manager, you will report into one of the audit Directors and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Manage your own portfolio of audit clients across the public and private sectors.
  • Lead and deliver pure audit engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, reviewing work and providing guidance.
  • Take ownership of client delivery, ensuring high-quality service and meeting key deadlines.

The Person

  • The successful Audit Senior / Manager will meet the following criteria:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (ICAEW will also be considered).
  • Strong external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.
  • Experience working with a varied client portfolio across different sectors.
  • Open to candidates from the Big 4.
  • Part-qualified candidates will be considered.
  • Accounts preparation experience through to trial balance is desirable.
