– Structured Cabling Engineer My client, a rapidly growing telecommunications contractor who specialises in physical infrastructure, wireless network, and security solutions are seeking a motivated individual to join their team.
We are looking for a Structured Data Cabling Engineer with structured cabling copper & fibre experience.
Engineers will be responsible for carrying out data cable installs throughout the UK & Ireland.
They must also be comfortable working in a construction environment.
Experienced engineers ideally will have the following skills and abilities; however we are also open minded for suitable applicants to undergo further training.
The Role A background in structured cabling- Desirable to have 2 years field engineering experience in copper & fibre installation, terminating and testing Knowledge & experience setting up and using copper & fibre certification testers Be able to work as part of a team and independently Knowledge & experience with the installation, termination and troubleshooting of copper & fibre structured cabling systems Containment systems installation Reading and interpreting CAD drawings, technical designs, and work to programme schedules Full driving licence Company Benefits Include Overtime rates for evenings & weekend work 25 days paid leave bank holidays Company uniform and PPE provided Licence/Certification: CSR or CSCS (desirable) IPAF (desirable) CNCI fibre & copper (desirable) Skills: telecommunications data cabling structured cabling Benefits: paid overtime parking training
