MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an industry-leading construction organisation to recruit a TA Specialist for an initial 3 month Fixed-Term Contract based in Craigavon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading business with a strong reputation for delivering major projects across the UK and Europe. As the organisation continues to grow, they are seeking a driven and proactive recruitment professional to play a key role in attracting and securing top talent across the business.

The Role

As TA Specialist, you will manage end-to-end recruitment activity across a range of operational and corporate functions, partnering closely with hiring managers to deliver effective and innovative talent acquisition strategies. You will play a vital role in building talent pipelines, enhancing the candidate experience, and supporting the organisation's ongoing growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a high volume of vacancies, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, compliance checks, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements across the business.
  • Source high-quality candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and other direct recruitment channels.
  • Build effective working relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders to understand workforce requirements and provide expert recruitment advice.
  • Collaborate with HR and operational teams to ensure a seamless recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives by identifying future hiring needs and developing proactive attraction strategies.
  • Monitor labour market trends and recruitment data to continuously improve sourcing methods and hiring outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity using the organisation's recruitment systems.
  • Ensure all recruitment processes are delivered in line with employment legislation, internal policies, and agreed service standards.
  • Promote and enhance the organisation's employer brand, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience within Recruitment or Talent Acquisition, ideally gained in the construction, engineering, manufacturing, or related sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • CIPD qualification, or a relevant third-level qualification, would be advantageous.
