The Role
As HR Generalist, you will report directly to Senior Management and oversee all day-to-day HR activities across the business. Supporting approximately employees across multiple NI and UK locations, you'll manage a broad range of HR responsibilities within a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle across the business
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to managers and employees
- Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and documentation
- Support onboarding, inductions, contracts, and probation processes
- Advise managers on absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters
- Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with current employment legislation
- Liaise with external advisors regarding employment law updates and more complex HR matters
- Assist with reviewing and improving HR processes and policies
- Support recruitment activity across operational teams when required
- Monitor absence, holidays, and HR reporting requirements
- Promote a positive and collaborative culture within a fast-paced production environment
The ideal candidate
- Previous experience in an HR Generalist role
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- CIPD or relevant qualification
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
