MCS Group is working with an established and growing manufacturing company in County Down as they look for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / Systems Analyst to support the implementation and optimisation of a new production and stock control system. This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Analyst or Systems Analyst who enjoys working with complex data, systems, and operational processes within a manufacturing environment.
The Role
This Data Analyst / Systems Analyst will help to build out the data behind a new system so it can accurately manage components, inventory, and production schedules. You will work with large volumes of product and component data, and ensure that e.g. stock control data is accurate. This role will involve structuring data, importing information (often via Excel), creating and updating system records, and testing/validating that the system produces accurate outputs. You will work closely with a small technical team, and your role will have a wide impact across the business.
The Person
- Strong attention to detail and highly methodical working style
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience working with large data-sets
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with MRP, ERP, or stock control systems would be preferable
- Experience with Sage 200 or similar systems would be advantageous
- Analytical mindset with an interest in data and systems
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm / Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Location: On-site in County Down
Duration: 6 months
Hourly Pay Rate: Negotiable DOE
