MCS Group are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit a Technical Engineer to join their team based in the UK. This organisation operates within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, delivering structural solutions across a range of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging designs while engaging directly with clients and playing a key role in project delivery from enquiry through to completion.

The Role

  • The Technical Engineer will be responsible for delivering design and technical support across a range of structural projects.
  • Following a period of on-the-job training, you will work independently, liaising directly with customers while producing calculations, drawings and technical solutions to meet project requirements.
  • Prepare structural calculations and load assessments in line with relevant standards.
  • Produce bespoke design solutions and technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Generate accurate technical quotations and deliver within agreed timescales.
  • Liaise directly with customers, providing technical advice and design support.
  • Oversee projects from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance.

The Ideal Candidate;

  • Civil, Structural or Mechanical background.
