The Role
- Support domestic and sexual abuse prevention and violence against women and girls programmes through awareness, education and community initiatives.
- Deliver campaigns, projects and events with partners to promote healthy relationships and public awareness.
- Build partnerships and support collaborative working across community safety and public health networks.
- Identify funding opportunities and support the delivery of funded programmes and projects.
- Assist with procurement, funding compliance, financial administration and service agreements.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor budgets and prepare performance and evaluation reports.
- Support communications, event staffing and service delivery while maintaining professional standards and flexibility.
The Person
- Level 5 qualification in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience in community-based programme delivery.
- Experience supporting the coordination or delivery of community-based programmes (e.g. community development, community safety, domestic & sexual abuse prevention, EVAWG initiatives, youth/community engagement, or events).
- Ability to assist with monitoring, reporting, event coordination and funded project delivery.
- Flexible approach to evening/weekend work with access to suitable transport for the role.
