The Role
The successful Commercial Insurance Broker will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients across a range of sectors.
- Providing expert advice on insurance products, coverage, and risk management solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery.
- Negotiating terms, premiums, and renewals with insurers to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business.
- Ensuring all activities are completed in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.
The Person
The successful Commercial Insurance Broker will meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience within commercial insurance, broking, or account handling.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and the wider insurance market.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and deliver client-focused solutions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries.
- Working towards or holding CII qualifications would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of FCA regulations and insurance compliance requirements.
- Proactive, professional, and able to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
