MCS Group is delighted to recruit a Fabrication Supervisor to lead a busy fabrication team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily fabrication operations, ensuring production targets are achieved safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
You will:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of welders and fabricators.
- Organise workloads and prioritise jobs to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Ensure all fabrication work is completed to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and workflow efficiency within the department.
- Support, coach, and develop team members while promoting a positive working culture.
About you:
- Experienced in fabrication or welding within a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a fabrication team.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
