MCS Group is delighted to be working exclusively with our client, a leading utilities contractor, to recruit a Civils Construction Manager for a variety of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

We\'re looking for a driven Civils Construction Manager to lead major water and wastewater projects from the ground up. You\'ll be based in Belfast, but your expertise will take you to project sites in London and across the UK - no two weeks will be the same.

This is your chance to join the Senior Leadership team of a forward-thinking utilities contractor delivering essential infrastructure that keeps communities running.

The Role

  • Lead the successful delivery of civil engineering projects within the water/wastewater sector.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage site operations to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Oversee and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Travel to and oversee UK-based project sites.

The Person

  • Proven experience managing civils projects in the water or wastewater sector.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to run multiple projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations and best practice.
  • Commercially aware with budget and cost management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to London and other UK sites.
  • Full UK driving licence.
