MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Operations Manager for our client. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across production, planning, and supply chain, ensuring efficient delivery and high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and quality targets are met
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and reduce waste
- Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams on the shop floor
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
About You
- Proven experience in an operations or production management role within engineering or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of production processes, planning, and supply chain coordination
- Experience implementing continuous improvement or Lean methodologies
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage teams at all levels
