Are you passionate about leadership development, organisational change and creating meaningful workforce impact? MCS Group is working with Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to recruit an interim Learning & Organisational Development Business Partner to support the delivery of its People Strategy and wider transformation agenda.

This is a key role within the People & Culture team, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to design and deliver innovative learning, leadership and organisational development initiatives that enhance capability, engagement and performance across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with designated business areas to provide expert L&D advice and support
  • Lead the design and delivery of leadership, learning and organisational development programmes
  • Support strategic organisational change initiatives and culture transformation
  • Deliver impactful learning interventions, workshops and leadership development activity
  • Conduct learning needs analysis and evaluate programme effectiveness
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships across internal and external networks
  • Use digital and innovative approaches to enhance learning and engagement
  • Support performance management, talent development and coaching initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery against organisational priorities
About You

You will be a collaborative and solutions-focused OD/L&D professional with experience delivering strategic people initiatives within complex organisations.

You should have:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification and Associate CIPD membership
  • At least 3 years' experience in an L&D or Organisational Development role
  • Experience designing and delivering learning and organisational development interventions
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
  • Excellent project management and analytical capability
  • Strong digital skills and experience using technology to support learning solutions
