MCS Group are delighted to be working with a well-established business, with a reputation for innovation and excellence in the builder's merchant field, to recruit for a Business Development Manager. With multiple branches, the business continues to grow and strengthen its market position. Based in the Greater Belfast area, the focus is on driving sales and maintaining the highest levels of customer service efficiently. The successful Business Development Manager will be able to develop a strategy to identify and grow key customer accounts, using their industry knowledge to build long‑term partnerships.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop new customer relationships while expanding existing ones
- Understand key customer needs and requirements
- Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner
- Compile and analyse sales data using the CRM system
- Collect customer feedback and carry out market research
Essential Criteria and Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience of building and timber products
- Previous experience in a sales-focused, customer-facing industry
- Passion and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Target-driven mindset with strong customer focus
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
