Business Analyst

MCS Group is currently working in partnership with a public sector organisation to recruit a Business Analyst on a fixed-term contract (6 months with the view to extension). Excellent hourly rate – £20.98 ph + benefits.

The Role

• Support the design, configuration and implementation of a new ERP system, specialising in either HR or Payroll modules.
• Gather and validate detailed business requirements, mapping current and future processes to inform system design.
• Act as a key liaison between service users, ICT colleagues, external partners and the ERP implementation team.
• Contribute to system configuration, data migration, testing and defect resolution to ensure a successful transition.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation including process maps, functional specifications and change logs.
• Assist with change management through training, communications and transition planning to support service users.
• Provide ongoing insight and recommendations to enhance business processes and ensure project delivery against agreed milestones.

The Person

• Relevant experience on a similar project.
• Experience gathering and analysing functional requirements for systems or digital projects.
• Valid UK drivers license.
