MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Building Services Commercial Manager for a leading UK and Ireland construction business with a strong track record in delivering complex MEP projects across multiple sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional within building services to take ownership of MEP packages from pre‑construction through procurement and delivery. You will play a key role in ensuring packages are commercially controlled, aligned with programme, and delivered in line with project and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support MEP cost planning, estimating, and tender submissions
- Lead procurement of MEP subcontract packages through to award
- Manage tender analysis, negotiations, and subcontract agreements
- Oversee MEP cost control, variations, and final account management
- Support project delivery including forecasting, reporting, and programme alignment
- Work across pre‑construction, procurement, and operations teams
About You
- Experience in MEP / building services commercial management
- Strong subcontract procurement and package delivery experience
- Good understanding of construction programmes and MEP sequencing
- Client‑facing experience and strong negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
