An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team, delivering high-quality, patient-centred pharmaceutical care.
The Role
- Clinically screen prescriptions to ensure medicines are safe, effective and appropriate.
- Provide medicines information, counselling and therapeutic advice to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Obtain and review medication histories, including assessment of patient-owned medicines.
- Support medicines optimisation, prescription monitoring and identification of adverse drug reactions.
- Contribute to audits, SOPs, quality improvement initiatives and cost-effective prescribing.
- Participate in rota duties as required, including weekends and public holidays.
The Person
- MPharm degree or equivalent.
- Completed pre-registration training and registered (or eligible to register) with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car, unless exempt under disability legislation.
