We are recruiting on behalf of a team in Belfast for a Technical Assistant to support asset tagging and technical services across multiple locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, and a genuine interest in estates and medical device support. You will work alongside technical, estates, and support teams, helping to ensure accurate asset records and the smooth delivery of essential technical services.
The role:
- Carry out asset tagging, identification, and verification of equipment across multiple locations.
- Maintain accurate asset records using internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Support technical, estates, and medical device services with day-to-day operational tasks.
- Assist with audits, inventories, and asset tracking activities.
- Liaise with internal teams to coordinate work across sites.
- Identify and report asset discrepancies, faults, or data issues appropriately.
- Work in accordance with organisational policies, procedures, confidentiality, and information governance requirements.
- Follow all relevant health and safety standards.
The person:
- Essential criteria:
- A minimum of four GCSEs, or equivalent, including English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including accurate data entry and spreadsheet management.
- Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and across multiple locations.
- Good communication skills and a professional, reliable approach.
- A genuine interest in, and passion for, estates services and or medical device support.
