MCS Group is partnering with a leading wholesale food business to recruit an experienced Buyer for a key commercial role based in Newry. This is a high-impact position offering real ownership of category performance, supplier relationships, and commercial strategy within a fast-growing FMCG environment.
The Role
- Deliver category sales, margin, and profit targets
- Lead supplier negotiations and manage JBPs
- Drive promotional planning, pricing strategy, and range development
- Manage seasonal trading plans
- Partner closely with sales, operations, and key customers
- Ensure pricing accuracy, compliance, and supply continuity
