MCS Group is recruiting a Test Technician/ Electronic Technician for our client based in Belfast on a temporary contract basis. In this role, you will:
- Assembly of electronic components and systems in line with technical drawings and specifications
- Carry out quality and testing inspection of components
- Mount components in assembly jigs with care and attention to detail
- Accurately complete assembly and test records
- Strict adherence to production processes and quality control requirements
You will have:
- Educated to ONC/OND level or equivalent OR GCSE level or equivalent, in Maths and English (Grade C or above)
- Previous experience in an electronic assembly or test role
- Good manual dexterity required for handling/manipulation of small/delicate components, with strong fault-finding skills down to component level
- Ability to solder
- Good understanding of quality standards and procedures
- Good written and communication skills
- IT Literate
