Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers. Providing advice on suitable insurance products and policy coverage. Preparing and issuing policy documentation in a timely manner. Ensuring all customer interactions and processes comply with regulatory requirements. The Person The successful SME Account Handler will meet the following criteria: Previous experience within insurance broking, account handling, or a customer-focused insurance role. Knowledge of commercial insurance products, particularly within the SME market. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload. Ability to provide a high level of service to clients and stakeholders. Comfortable handling renewals, policy amendments, and day-to-day account queries. Working towards or holding CII qualifications would be beneficial.
