MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a major utilities organisation in Northern Ireland, supplying essential services to homes and businesses across the region while investing heavily in renewable energy and long-term sustainability initiatives. The organisation plays a key role in supporting critical infrastructure and driving the transition toward a lower-carbon future through continued investment in innovation and clean energy solutions.
The Role
Reporting into the PMO function within the Technology & Innovation division, you will take ownership of a portfolio of business and IT change initiatives. This is a senior delivery role overseeing multiple concurrent projects from initiation through to implementation and closure. The team currently manages a large portfolio of live projects, including business improvement and technology refresh programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end delivery of multiple IT and business change projects
- Managing complex, multi-workstream programmes across the full lifecycle
- Overseeing third-party suppliers and ensuring delivery against agreed work packages
- Representing programmes in governance, compliance, and regulatory forums
- Ensuring delivery against scope, time, cost, and quality objectives
What You'll Need
- Extensive experience delivering IT programmes/projects at a senior level
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-million-pound or multi-workstream environments
- Strong experience across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and external partners
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including senior governance engagement
