MCS Group are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a rapidly expanding global technology company in Belfast as they continue to grow out their finance function.
The Company: Our client is a global IT company with offices across the UK, US and APAC regions. The business continues to scale internationally and is now seeking to add a Senior Internal Auditor to support the company's SOX compliance programme and operational audit activity from Belfast. This is an excellent time to join the organisation as they continue their strategic global growth.
The Rewards: As the successful Senior Internal Auditor, you will receive:
- £40,000 - £45,000 base salary plus extensive benefits;
- Annual Bonus (10%);
- Flexible/Hybrid working model (2 days office);

The Role: As the successful Senior Internal Auditor, you will report directly to the Senior Internal Audit Manager and will be responsible for the following duties:
- Lead and participate in operational, financial and IT audits;
- Support all phases of SOX compliance (walkthroughs, testing, documentation);
- Draft audit reports and recommend control improvements;
- Track remediation of findings and monitor action plans;
- Coordinate audit requests and PBC schedules;
- Other duties as outlined in the full job description.
The Person: The successful Senior Internal Auditor will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIA or Qualified by Experience;
- Open to internal audit or external audit background;
- Open to industry or practice background;
- Strong communication skills.
