MCS Group is partnering with a well-established organisation operating within a fast-paced, operational environment to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for their site in Dungannon. This is a key position within a sizeable HR team, offering exposure to employee relations, engagement initiatives, and absence management in a busy site setting.
The Role
Reporting into an HR Business Partner and working closely with Senior HR Advisors, the successful candidate will act as a first point of contact for HR queries and play a central role in maintaining positive employee relations across the site.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees on day-to-day people matters
- Managing absence cases and supporting attendance improvement initiatives
- Supporting employee relations issues, escalating to senior colleagues where required
- Playing an active role in employee engagement programmes and site-wide initiatives
- Building strong relationships with operational stakeholders in a busy, on-site environment
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- Strong exposure to employee relations and absence management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Confident engaging with managers and employees at all levels
- Flexible in approach, with the ability to support a site operating across varied shift patterns
- CIPD qualification is desirable
