A leading Financial Services Consultancy are now looking to build upon several years of exciting growth by hiring a Senior Compliance Consultant for their Belfast offices. This new, full-time permanent job opportunity will see the successful individual play a key role in delivering audit and assurance support to the firm's global clients. A key aspect of this role is info sec experience, specifically ISO 27001. This new role would suit those from a compliance background in financial services, with exposure to or knowledge of varied regulatory requirements - this is a very client-facing role and having this experience is essential.
Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Delivering audit & assurance support, guidance and insight to the firm's UK & European clients
- Engage in a wide range of projects with cutting-edge clients across the payments, e-money, asset management sectors & more
- Providing highest quality compliance work products to European clients
- Playing a key role in delivering on multiple projects - including but not limited to Information Security, Consumer Duty, Financial Crime, Safeguarding & more
- Carrying out compliance audits for clients - advising of relevant recommendations to achieve regulatory compliance
- Working closely with existing clients to help learn their business and design supporting regulatory strategy accordingly
Criteria:
- Junior to Mid-level professionals within assurance, audit or compliance testing - within financial services, banking, fintech or similar
- Payments or Asset Management industry knowledge is desirable, but not essential
- Demonstrable audit experience - any relevant kind of audit
- ISO 27001 experience
- Client-facing experience or exposure is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
