MCS Group are delighted to partner exclusively with a rapidly growing, engineering-first FDI project looking for two Senior Cloud Engineers, as they begin building a brand-new Belfast delivery centre. Trusted by Fortune 1000 organisations, this consultancy delivers enterprise-scale observability, automation, and service operations solutions at speed and is consistently recognised as a top place to work. In this remote role, you will work on high-impact, cutting-edge projects across observability, DevOps modernisation, and ServiceNow platforms, collaborating with global clients and elite engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage configurations using YAML and JSON
- Deliver cloud and on-prem observability solutions (Infrastructure, APM, Logs)
- Create custom log pipelines and grok patterns
- Write automation and integration scripts in Shell, Python, and PowerShell
- Collaborate closely with clients and engineering teams on high-impact projects
The Ideal Person
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
- Linux/Unix and systems administration background (cloud and/or on-prem)
- Experience juggling multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- Strong scripting or programming skills (Shell, Python, Go, or PowerShell)
