MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS business to recruit a Senior SDR / Junior BDR. Operating at the intersection of workflow automation, AI, and financial services, the company helps mid-market and enterprise organisations modernise complex operational processes through intelligent automation. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with early-stage SaaS experience to join a high-performing, international team and take ownership of pipeline generation across both European and US markets. Working directly alongside senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth while benefiting from significant autonomy, progression opportunities, and exposure to a rapidly scaling business.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a pipeline of mid-market and enterprise prospects across financial services, including funds, fund administrators, fintechs, banks, and related sectors.
  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns through email, LinkedIn, cold outreach, and other modern sales channels to generate qualified meetings.
  • Research target accounts in depth, mapping stakeholders, identifying operational challenges, and developing highly personalised outreach strategies.
  • Qualify inbound enquiries and convert interest into high-quality discovery meetings for the sales team.
  • Take ownership of top-of-funnel activity, consistently delivering against pipeline generation and activity targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting, tracking performance metrics and continuously refining outreach approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with senior sales leadership to ensure seamless handovers and an excellent prospect experience throughout the sales process.
  • Leverage AI-powered sales and research tools to improve prospecting efficiency, personalise outreach at scale, and maximise productivity.
  • Contribute ideas and insights around messaging, targeting, and go-to-market strategy within a highly collaborative environment.

Essential Criteria

  • 1-2 years' experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrable success generating pipeline through outbound prospecting and business development activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including CFOs, COOs, and operational leaders.
  • Self-motivated and highly proactive, with the ability to identify target accounts and build effective outreach strategies independently.
  • Commercially aware, resilient, and comfortable operating in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience managing activity, pipeline, and sales processes using CRM systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment with a high degree of autonomy.

  • Exposure to financial services, fintech, banking, fund administration, or related sectors.
  • Experience selling workflow, automation, SaaS, or technology solutions.
