MCS Group is recruiting a Project Manager (Product Development) for our manufacturing technology client based in Lisburn. Do you want to lead innovative engineering projects from concept through to product launch? We're recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional product development projects within a technology-led engineering environment.

The Role

  • Lead end-to-end product development projects
  • Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams
  • Define project scope, priorities, budgets and schedules
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Drive delivery against key milestones
  • Identify and remove project roadblocks
  • Communicate progress to stakeholders at all levels
  • Improve project planning and development processes

The successful candidate:

  • Experience managing engineering development projects
  • Strong project planning, estimating and budgeting experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and drive delivery
  • Experience working across multiple sites / international teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • It's advantageous if you have experience managing a combination of both hardware & firmware programmes, and using Project Management tools.
  • Lean/Operational excellence experience within an engineering technical environment.
