Are you an experienced Power BI professional who enjoys turning complex business data into meaningful insights? We're recruiting for a Power BI Data Analyst / Developer to join a global Sales Operations function. This is a highly technical role where you'll take ownership of enterprise reporting solutions, helping Sales, Finance and Planning teams make data-driven decisions through scalable analytics and forecasting.
You'll play a key role in modernising reporting capabilities, including migrating existing Tableau reports into Power BI, designing robust semantic models, and developing dashboards that support business growth and predictive analytics.
The Role
As the Power BI specialist within the team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business-critical reporting solutions while working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing and optimising Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models.
- Converting existing Tableau reports into Power BI.
- Building scalable data models that support Sales, Finance, Demand Planning and Forecasting.
- Developing reporting solutions using data from Snowflake, SQL and multiple internal systems.
- Creating and maintaining Power BI Dataflows, Dimensions and DAX calculations.
- Performing data modelling, ETL and data transformation to deliver reliable reporting datasets.
- Identifying and resolving data quality issues and reporting anomalies.
- Supporting forecasting and planning initiatives through insightful reporting.
- Enhancing and maintaining existing dashboards and reporting infrastructure.
- Collaborating with Sales Operations, Business Leadership and IT to gather requirements and deliver impactful analytics solutions.
About You
You'll be an experienced Power BI developer with a passion for building high-quality reporting solutions and solving business problems through data. You'll ideally have:
- Strong commercial experience developing solutions in Power BI.
- Expert-level data modelling and semantic model design.
- Advanced DAX and SQL skills.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong ETL and data transformation experience.
- Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data visualisation best practices.
- Experience building reporting solutions for Sales, Finance, Planning or Forecasting.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A proactive, analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
Desirable Experience
Any of the following would be advantageous:
- Microsoft Fabric
- SAP data structures
- Salesforce reporting and data
- Microsoft PL-300 certification
- Manufacturing or semiconductor industry experience
- Sales Operations or incentive compensation reporting
