MCS Group is delighted to be working with an ambitious and scaling organisation to appoint a People Operations Partner to join their team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist who enjoys operating across both the strategic and operational sides of HR, while making a genuine impact in a collaborative and evolving business.

The role:

  • You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across the business, helping to deliver people initiatives that support business growth, employee engagement and a positive working culture.
  • You will play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, advising on employee relations matters, partnering on recruitment activity, and contributing to wider people projects and process improvements.

The main responsibilities:

  • Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding and contractual changes.
  • Provide practical, timely HR advice to managers and employees across a range of people matters.
  • Manage employee relations issues in line with policy, best practice and employment legislation.
  • Partner with managers on end-to-end recruitment activity.
  • Maintain and review HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to employee engagement and culture initiatives.
  • Coach and support managers on performance, people capability and development.
  • Assist with payroll, benefits administration and reporting requirements.
  • Support wider HR and business projects, including systems and process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate:

  • Similar HR Generalist experience, ideally within a growing organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of NI employment law, HR policy and best practice.
  • ROI legislation would be advantageous.
  • CIPD qualified.
