MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a fast-growing SaaS organisation operating across the UK, with offices in GB and Belfast, as they look to appoint an experienced People & Culture Manager on a full-time permanent basis. With a growing team of 100+ employees and ambitious expansion plans, this is a unique opportunity for a strategic and hands-on HR leader to take ownership of the entire people function, driving engagement, development, and organisational effectiveness across a remote-first workforce.

The role involves reporting directly to the senior leadership team, acting as a trusted advisor across the business, ensuring the people strategy aligns closely with company growth plans and long-term objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and modernising the HR function, balancing strategic leadership with operational delivery across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

People development and retention will sit at the heart of this role, with responsibility for designing and implementing a company-wide learning and development framework, including career pathways, skills mapping, structured progression, and leadership development initiatives. The People & Culture Manager will also lead on performance management processes, employee engagement initiatives, and retention strategies to ensure employees feel supported, motivated, and empowered to grow their careers within the organisation.

This role requires a commercially minded and credible HR leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment and who enjoys building modern people practices that genuinely add value to both employees and the wider business.

To apply for this outstanding People & Culture opportunity, it is essential you possess the following:

  • 5+ years' experience within a senior HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or People leadership role, with at least 2 years experience at HR Manager level
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering learning and development programmes with measurable outcomes
  • Experience supporting remote-first or distributed teams
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Demonstrable experience improving or transforming HR systems and processes
  • Experience working within a scaling or high-growth business environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Commercially aware, pragmatic, and solutions-focused
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities
  • Strong employee relations experience combined with sound judgement and discretion

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience using PeopleHR or a similar HRIS platform
  • Familiarity with similar goal-setting frameworks
  • Experience developing compensation benchmarking frameworks
  • Previous experience building or scaling HR functions within a growing business
