The Person
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experience working within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau environment
- Exposure to HSC payroll processes is advantageous
- Confident using payroll software and systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for data handling and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
The Role
You will have a wide range of duties, such as:
- Process payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines and statutory reporting requirements are met
- Support the Payroll Manager with client reporting and day-to-day bureau operations
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in all work
- Liaise with internal teams and external contacts professionally
- Assist other departments as required, with opportunities to develop bookkeeping and accounts experience
