MCS Group are delighted to be working with a steadfast local accountancy firm based in Belfast city centre to recruit for an experienced payroll professional into their team.

The Company: Well-established mid-tier accountancy and advisory firm with offices in Belfast and Dublin, supporting clients across NI, ROI and the wider UK market. The firm provides a broad range of services including audit, accounts, tax, forensic accounting and payroll, working with owner-managed businesses and organisations across sectors such as construction, hospitality and legal.

The Role: As the successful payroll specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients
  • Ensuring payrolls are completed accurately and on time
  • Liaising directly with clients regarding payroll queries
  • Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance

The Person: As the successful payroll specialist you will meet the following criteria:

  • At least 2 years' payroll experience
  • Experience using Sage and/or Xero
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
