The Person

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Experience working within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau environment
  • Exposure to HSC payroll processes is advantageous
  • Confident using payroll software and systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for data handling and reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively

The Role

You will have a wide range of duties, such as:

  • Process payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines and statutory reporting requirements are met
  • Support the Payroll Manager with client reporting and day-to-day bureau operations
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and quality in all work
  • Liaise with internal teams and external contacts professionally
  • Assist other departments as required, with opportunities to develop bookkeeping and accounts experience
