MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Operations & Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy industrial operation. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of materials while leading operational teams and driving continuous improvement.
You will:
- Manage daily operational activities and coordinate with contractors, hauliers, and external stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, and support operational teams.
- Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality, and performance initiatives.
- Support TPM activities to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and legislation.
You will have:
- Experience in an operations, logistics, production, or site management role within an industrial environment.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Experience managing operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of TPM and maintenance practices would be advantageous.
- Engineering, Operations, or Business qualification desirable but not essential.
