Their platform helps organisations keep employee devices safe by identifying vulnerabilities, risky settings, outdated software, and potential indicators of compromise - then guiding users through simple steps to fix them. The Belfast engineering team is at the heart of the product - working on core integrations, backend systems, and complex technical challenges that have real impact on the overall platform.
The role
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of end-to-end quality across the product stack. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure new features are reliable, well-tested, and ready for release. This is a hands-on role with real influence over testing strategy, release readiness, and overall product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing across web applications, APIs, mobile apps (iOS & Android), and backend services
- Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites
- Perform exploratory and edge-case testing
- Validate data accuracy and integrity across backend systems and pipelines
- Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar
- Log, track, and help triage defects with engineering teams
- Support release cycles and act as a quality gate before deployment
- Promote QA best practices and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in QA, ideally in a senior or lead capacity
- Strong background in manual testing across web, API, and mobile platforms
- Experience testing RESTful APIs
- Understanding of structured data (e.g. JSON, CSV) and backend validation
- Working knowledge of SQL for basic data checks
- Strong attention to detail and clear documentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Confident collaborating across multiple teams
