MCS Group is working exclusively with a high-growth, international technology company as they continue to scale their operations in Northern Ireland. We're looking for an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join the business and play a key role in software, hardware, and IT services spend within a complex, global environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in technology procurement who is keen to step into a role with real scope, visibility, and influence.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role where you'll manage sourcing activity end-to-end - from spend analysis and RFPs through to contract negotiation, renewals, and supplier management. You'll work closely with IT, Legal, Finance, and senior stakeholders, acting as a key commercial partner across the organisation.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting and delivering IT procurement strategy across software, hardware, and services
- Managing RFP/RFQ processes from initiation through to completion
- Negotiating IT and software contracts, renewals, and commercial terms
- Building and managing supplier relationships to drive value, cost optimisation, and risk management
- Engaging with senior stakeholders and communicating effectively across the business
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience supporting or leading IT contract negotiations (software or SaaS procurement experience preferred)
- Background in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial roles
- Comfortable reviewing contracts and contributing to negotiations
- Able to balance stakeholder needs with strong commercial judgement
- Organised, pragmatic, and confident working independently
Nice to have:
- Experience with procurement tools such as SAP / Ariba, Oracle, or Coupa
