MCS Group is pleased to be partnering with a reputable and expanding accountancy firm to recruit an Audit and Accounts Newly Qualified/Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established practice known for its commitment to client service and professional growth. The company was established over 25 years ago and provides its clients with a range of Accountancy services such as Audit, Advisory, Forensic Accounting, Payroll, Corporate restructuring and more.

Role
- You will have a wide range of duties, such as:
- The role can be moulded around the candidate (Accounts focused / Audit focused / Audit and Accounts)
- Report directly to Managers/Partners within the firm depending on level
- Manage a portfolio of external audit clients, with peak activity during April to August
- Prepare statutory accounts in support of audit engagements
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
- Provide clients with a comprehensive financial overview.
- Reviewing and mentoring the work of juniors.
Person
- The ideal candidate will be:
- ACA / ACCA Qualified
- Preference for a mid-tier accountancy practice, but welcome candidates from Big 4 audit teams
- Strong experience in external audit and statutory accounts preparation
- Open to candidates who are part-qualified (PQ) or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Comfortable working under pressure during busy audit seasons (April-August)
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver clear, value-added insights
