MCS Group is delighted to recruit an experienced Head of Quality to lead the quality function in a fast-paced, heavily regulated manufacturing environment. This leadership role will be responsible for driving compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management Systems while supporting business growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
You will:
- Collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Drive quality strategy, continuous improvement, and right-first-time performance.
- Lead and develop high-performing quality teams.
- Lead the Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple sites.
- Lead audit preparation and management, including Notified Body and customer audits.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, R&D, and Regulatory teams to support compliant product lifecycle management.
You will have:
- Senior quality leadership experience in a regulated medical device (or similarly regulated) environment, ideally across multiple sites.
- Knowledge of MDSAP.
- Demonstrable experience running an effective QMS, driving audit readiness, CAPA effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
- Working knowledge of key medical device regulatory frameworks and expectations, especially where they intersect with QMS and lifecycle controls (Notified Body expectations, post-market inputs, change control).
