MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a global professional services organisation to recruit a Group Finance Manager to join their expanding finance function based in Belfast.

The Company: Our client is a leading global professional services organisation with an established international presence across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. Following continued growth, they are investing further in their Belfast finance team and are now seeking a Group Finance Manager to play a key role in financial control, technical accounting and group reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation offering genuine career progression within a collaborative global finance environment.

The Rewards: As the successful Group Finance Manager, you will receive:

The Role: As the successful Group Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Deputy Group Financial Controller and will:

  • Lead the delivery of Group financial reporting, analysis and management information
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare technical accounting papers and support the implementation of new accounting standards
  • Manage Group statutory reporting and financial statement preparation
  • Partner with stakeholders across the global finance function and mentor junior team members
  • Other duties as outlined in the full job description

The Person: The successful Group Finance Manager will meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or Equivalent
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
