MCS Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established Financial Services firm to recruit a Finance Manager on a part-time basis (circa 20 hours per week) to join their growing business in Belfast.

The Company: Our client is a Northern Ireland-based financial services company with multiple entities. The business is entering an exciting transitional phase, with a strong focus on governance, financial control, and sustainable growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the finance function within a regulated environment, working closely with senior leadership and playing a key role in strategic decision-making.

The Rewards: As the successful Finance Manager (Part-Time), you will receive the following:

  • £50,000-60,000 (FTE) base salary + extensive benefits;
  • Flexible/Hybrid working model (3 days office);

  • High level of autonomy and influence across the finance function.

The Role: As the successful Finance Manager (Part-Time), you will report directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning;
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts & reporting packs;
  • Ownership for budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning processes;
  • Lead day-to-day finance operations including AP/AR, payroll, general ledger and intercompany cross-charges;
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls, policies and procedures;
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making;
  • Other duties as outlined in the full job description.

The Person: The successful Finance Manager (Part-Time) will meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience;
  • Strong management accounts experience;
  • Strong commercial acumen;
  • Strong IT skills.
